Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24-hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services.

Position Summary: Responsible for the development and implementation of business and marketing plans for the facility. Leads efforts to manage, monitor, and influence the hospitals community reputation through referral source surveys, post-discharge patient reviews, and community outreach. Participates in the marketing plan process through market research, market analysis and marketing tactics. Works on new and existing facility programs. Participates in the department's continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Qualifications

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

Meet with existing clients to assess needs and determine actions to enhance relationships and referrals

Facilitate new community relationships within marketing territory to drive new business

Consults with departments on a regular basis to understand needs and prepare marketing business plans accordingly

Reports mileage and other expenses accurately and in accordance with approved company policies being mindful of departments budget

Remains flexible with schedule to ensure that we are meeting with accounts when it is most convenient for them. Prepares a schedule of meeting times and locations, and with whom, each week/month as required

Prepares individual expense reports and required documentation to ensure timeliness of payment and reporting of expenses

Prepares, distributes, analyzes, and reports on satisfaction surveys on a wide range of data from patient satisfaction surveys, community perception and reputation surveys, Community outreach opportunities, and more

Develops programs that are centered around the survey results to show increased satisfaction within the hospital as well as within our community and other operational territories.

Bachelors Degree preferred with 1-3 years related experience required and 3-5 years experience preferred.

ability to perform commuinty needs analysis with understanding of medical terminologfy and practices a plus.
