Certified Medical Assistant- AT-49564

In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with intake procedures, and supporting medical staff in a correctional facility setting. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring the health and safety of the individuals under your care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine medical tasks, including blood draws and specimen collection.
• Assist with patient intake and documentation, including vital signs, medical histories, and other assessments.
• Provide patient education as needed.
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
• Support the healthcare team with various medical procedures and administrative duties as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the medical and correctional staff to ensure the smooth operation of the facility's healthcare services.

Shifts: Monday - Friday 7a-3p

Must be available at least 2 weekends a month
