Learn more at HonorHealth.com. Responsibilities Job Summary The RN-Cosmetic Injection records patients' medical history and desired cosmetic results to help perform cosmetic injections. This position will be responsible for planning, administering, monitoring, analyzing and recording results for provided treatments. The RN evaluates and documents the needs of the patient/client and creates a treatment plan to achieve the desired results. Administers treatments of prescription medication injections and provides follow-up consultations to review and discuss results in line with plan of care. Treatments of cosmetic injections may include, but are not limited to reviewing dosages, verifying drug interactions, administering medications, observing the patient and consulting with Wellness Spa Medical Director. The RN will also be responsible for ensuring patient understanding of post-treatment and home care needs. All RN staff who have direct responsibility for the care of stroke patients must have knowledge of: * Stroke symptoms and warning signs * Protocols and pathways used to identify, evaluate and management of stroke patients * NIHSS and Modified Rankin Stroke scales * Code Brain activation and protocol * Stroke quality indicators * Available stroke patient education materials and community resources * Educational requirements * HH Stroke Center website resources
Qualifications Education Associate's Degree in Nursing. Graduated from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution. Required All staff who have direct responsibility for the care of stroke patients must have 8 hours of initial stroke specific education, and then 1 hour annually. Required Experience 1 year Knowledge or previous injectable experience Required Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) State And/Or Compact State Licensure Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona. Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) training course C. Required Unit specific certification if required by specialty area. Certification or Training by credible program, school, or Physician in Cosmetic injections. Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Additionally, the network float position requires an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Required |
