Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Senior Creative Specialist is responsible for managing the production of creative assets and materials consistent with the corporate visual identity standards and project specific objectives. She/he interfaces with department and other leaders to understand the project goals and parameters, the other pieces in the broader campaign, and the themes and messaging. He/she designs/produces the most effective assets based on objectives and assures the most cost-effective production techniques are used to meet the project objectives. She/he leads other designers/producers to satisfy requests and fulfill campaign functions. This position helps manage project intake, assignment, tracking, management, reporting, and revision. This position is involved in creative problem solving and must be able to translate ideas and information into visual and audio communication. Must be able to manage numerous projects within specified deadlines and budgets.
- Provides design and production services, and manage the same:
Ensures creative output satisfies project objectives. Provides counsel and insures appropriate solutions are provided for a variety of media. Provides internal counsel on the appropriate budgets and resource consumption for projects. Ensures creative output satisfies HonorHealth positioning and project-specific objectives, brand identity and quality standards. Trains internal staff and external vendors on brand goals, objectives and standards, and insures standards are met. Participates in brand standard development through multi-discipline work team
- Provides, oversees and commissions as needed:
Creative and production services such as printing, photography, video production, audio production, illustration and graphic or web/interactive design. Ensures HonorHealth artistic property rights are protected. Obtains competitive bids from vendors to ensure most cost effective options are used. Secures vendors to supplement in-house capabilities to manage volume.
- Provides creative direction on specific projects:
Photography/Video session Signage Electronic media Video Audio Graphic design Web/interactive design
- Helps oversee other creative specialists, ensuring their work is high quality, branded appropriately, and will help achieve campaign and department objectives.
