Additional Job Description: West Virginia University School of Medicine - Eastern Division and the Department Medical Radiology seek an Interventional Radiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Two (2) New Interventional Labs added to the interventional radiology department December 2024. Cohesive, well trained interventional staff committed to growing services and expanding procedures. Hybrid work schedule available. Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed Radiology residency program, as well as Interventional Radiology fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Hematology/Oncology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Martinsburg, WV is located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia a little more than an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD close to 3 international airports. A rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living mixed with the easy accessibility to the Washington DC / Baltimore areas make the Eastern Panhandle an ideal place in which to live.
