For more information visit www.dallasregionalmedicalcenter.com. Responsibilities The Lead Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for
leading the department's decontamination, preparation, sterilization of Central Sterile trays, instruments, equipment, inventory and restocking of supplies, computer data entry and familiar with preference cards.
Qualifications Education and Work Experience 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
2. At least two (2) years experience as a Central Sterile Technician required; in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
3. Sterile Processing Certification Required.
4. Current BLS (AHA) certificate within 60 days.
