Job description:
The Research Assistant (RA) will support a group of clinician-educators and medical education scholars in the design, conduct, and evaluation of medical education research projects. Core responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive literature searches, synthesizing relevant findings, and drafting literature summaries and annotated bibliographies. The RA may also assist with organizing and managing reference manager software databases (e.g., Mendeley) for active research projects. In addition to literature review tasks, the RA may help with administrative duties necessary for research conduct, such as assisting with the collection and organization of research data and distributing electronic surveys to project participants. The RA may also assist with preparing IRB applications, presentations, and research manuscripts for medical education research projects. The role requires strong analytical, reading comprehension, written communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a collaborative academic medical center environment.
