Plumber

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program.
• 10+ years of related experience or equivalent education and training.
• State journeyman card required.
• Valid driver's license and applicable local plumbing license.
• Master plumber certification and forklift/aerial equipment certification, if applicable.

Plumber Essential Tasks:

• Review building plans and inspect structures to determine installation requirements and avoid structural weakening.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and thread pipes to fit designated areas using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Assemble, install, and join pipes made of various materials, including metal, plastic, and vitrified clay.
• Test pipe systems using water or air pressure to detect leaks and ensure proper installation.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, including sinks, water heaters, and backflow devices.
• Perform welding on piping, structural steel, and miscellaneous components, including silver soldering copper.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, manage inventory, complete necessary paperwork, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Pay: $31 per hour | Schedule: 2nd Shift
