Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.14/hour (W-2) Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and analytical Growth Marketing Strategist to join the Engagement & Retention team. This role focuses on driving customer engagement and optimizing retention strategies for subscription-based media services. The ideal candidate will be experienced in lifecycle marketing and thrive in cross-functional environments. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize lifecycle marketing strategies focused on engagement and retention
Lead the design and execution of complex, geo-specific customer journeys
Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, analytics, marketing, and design
Implement A/B testing and data-driven optimizations to improve campaign effectiveness
Define and iterate on value propositions, messaging strategies, and educational content
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing results and refining future plans
Manage large-scale, international, and time-sensitive projects
Align marketing efforts with privacy-friendly, customer-centric approaches
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in digital or lifecycle marketing with proven success in retention and engagement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in A/B testing, campaign orchestration, and data-driven optimization
Experience with push, in-app, email, and online marketing tactics
Exceptional collaboration and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail
Experience in media or subscription businesses strongly preferred
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
