Account Executive

The Account Executive position allows you the flexibility to work at home as long as you reside within a 50-mile radius of the Brooklyn, OH Medical Mutual office.

Manages and acts as primary contact for the successful renewal, retention and add-on sales of assigned book of business. Provides in depth analysis of client plans and identifies opportunities. Facilitates renewal and retention processes and consults and advises on all products, industry trends, and plan functions.

Account Executive I

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.

* Two years progressive experience in health insurance in a contracts, sales, system testing, benefit administration, claims or customer service capacity.

Professional Certification(s):

* Ohio Department of Insurance license (or required to obtain within 4 months of hire).

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

* Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of health insurance products; sales and industry processes including underwriting, stop loss, benefit plan design; health care funding arrangements; and related laws/regulations including HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA.

* Intermediate MS Office Skills.

Account Executive II

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.

* Five (5) years sales/account management experience in the health insurance industry which includes direct customer contact.

Professional Certification(s):

* Ohio Department of insurance license (or required to obtain within 4 months of hire).

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

* Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of health insurance products; sales and industry processes including underwriting, stop loss benefit plan design; healthcare funding arrangements; and related laws/regulations including HIPAA, COBRA and FMLA

* Intermediate MS Office Skills

Sr. Account Executive

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.

* 5+ years sales/account management experience in the health insurance industry which includes direct customer contact.

Professional Certification(s):

* Ohio Department of insurance license

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

* Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of health insurance products; sales and industry processes including underwriting, stop loss, benefit plan design; health care funding arrangements; and related laws/regulations including HIPPA, COBRA, FMLA.

* Intermediate MS Office Skills.
