Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, innovative, and learner-centric Onboarding Manager to join our U.S. Learning and Organizational Development team (L&OD). The Manager will play a pivotal role in helping to enhance L&D capabilities, elevate onboarding effectiveness, and drive a high-performance culture at Nestle USA. This position will be program manager for onboarding learning solutions, including New Hire Orientation, that support new employees across the business. You will work closely with partners and stakeholders to build strategy, identify and address training gaps, and continuously improve and update the corporate onboarding curriculum to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain company-level learning solutions in various formats (instructor-led trainings, e-learnings, etc.) to enable new employees to effectively integrate into the work environment.
  • Identify and address new hire capability gaps through learning journey.
  • Prioritize projects and resources to align with the corporate onboarding roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of corporate onboarding initiatives across unit-specific programs.
  • Facilitate courses both virtually and in-person.
  • Manage peer-assisted onboarding strategy, including peer partners and peer circles.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and collaboration with key stakeholders via the Onboarding Community of Practice.
  • Assess and audit learning solutions against predefined metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in onboarding and L&D.

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

  • Bachelor's degree in Training/L&D, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related field (required).
  • MS/MA/MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, training and capacity building, organizational development, client consulting, and/or talent management roles.
  • Position requires up to 15% travel.

  • Experience in developing innovative, data-driven, learner-centric learning solutions.
  • Outstanding facilitation skills. Ability to deliver engaging learning experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Adult learning expertise. Ability to apply adult learning principles, training methodologies, and evaluation strategies, and proficiency in leveraging learning technologies and emerging tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project and program management skills. Ability to plan, communicate, and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple process flows.
  • Ability to work closely with peers to ensure successful learning outcomes.
  • Ability to tackle problems creatively under pressure.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and agility in the face of change.
  • Ability to pilot and pivot based on feedback.
