Overview

TRC is looking for an experienced GIS Analyst to join our team! This position will be an essential part of our team providing support to our federal customers. In this role, you will work with a team providing GIS data management, analysis, and reporting to one of our federal clients. **This is a client support role that requires regular onsite presence up to 100% of the time at the client's facility in Denver, CO.**


Responsibilities

The GIS Analyst is responsible for creating, managing, and analyzing geographic data, conducting spatial analysis, and creating data products. They use GIS software to perform data creation, remediation, validation, and analysis independently under the direction of senior team members.

  • Collects, edits, and manages geographic data using Esri GIS software.
  • Follows documented data management approaches specific to the project.
  • Develops data products as directed by task leads for assigned projects.
  • Conducts spatial data editing, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Performs data validation and ensures data accuracy and completeness.
  • Demonstrates TRC company values on assigned projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of technical GIS application, concepts, principles, and theories.
  • Contributes to data management strategy and delivery for assigned projects ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Communicates technical information in a logical, organized, coherent, and persuasive manner, both written and verbally.
  • Independently delivers assigned work at the direction of task leads.
  • Collaborates seamlessly within a team environment to deliver quality projects.
  • Exhibits expertise in GIS technical processes for producing high-quality GIS work products.
  • Maintains responsible, consistent, and reliable behavior to meet deadlines and complete assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited College or University in Geography, Planning, Natural Resources, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience performing the essential functions defined in this job description

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
