About the role:
As a Sales Executive - Quota Carrier, you'll be part of a team of self-motivated, high achieving sales professionals helping financial institutions drive efficiencies and growth. By providing industry-leading solutions, you'll drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests.

About the team:

FIS Global Commercial Services (GCS) Managed IT Services division provides digital-ready IT infrastructure outsourcing that is optimized to adapt the unpredictable needs of enterprises for the digital age while simultaneously delivering business value and outcomes. Public and private cloud infrastructure, network & communication services, end-to-end cybersecurity protection, all delivered as a fully managed service and offered to the banking and corporation markets.

What you will be doing

You'll be working to build strong relationships; both internally, in your team and across the company, as well as externally, with our customers, in order to execute against the following responsibilities:

Prepare

  • Target Account Lists within your given territory/vertical
  • Proposals to clients utilizing pre-sales teams and tools
  • Qualify opportunities with prospective/existing customers, and assess requirements for each individual opportunity.
  • Prepare Proposals and Presentations, considering the overall positioning of the Managed IT Services Service Catalogue to best align with the strategic needs of the customers.
  • Coordinate the completion of RFP/RFI using FIS resources.

Meet

  • Via phone and in person (onsite when conditions allow), deliver presentations articulating the value of the GCS Managed IT & Cloud Services catalogue, and broker conversations on the strategic IT needs of the customer.
  • Meet and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure any non-standard service elements have been properly scrutinized and approved prior to contract execution.
  • Meet sales goals and objectives

Build

  • Solicit and maintain a network of prospects in partnership with internal account managers
  • Negotiation strategies to close "deals" that meet customer expectations and FIS's ability to deliver
  • Pricing strategies for each individual opportunity using the approved price frameworks and calculators
  • A pipeline of new Managed IT Service deals by tirelessly evangelizing the value of the services both internally (account managers), as well as to prospective customers.

What you bring:

  • You have a passion for and a deep experience with IT modernization and cloud technologies, and the managed services that optimize, operate, and secures them.
  • You're all about consultative, insightful selling to customers who have problems you just can't wait to solve.
  • You're armed with excellent written and presentation communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex technical topics in a simple manor to business buyers; MS Suite proficient
  • Background selling to the Financial Services industry

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • 5 + years of field sales experience selling into financial institutions is key.
  • Has expert level knowledge of FIS products and services and may be tasked with introducing new products.
  • Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience presenting to CEO/CIO/COO, etc.
  • Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public.
  • General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications, and banking practices is required.
  • Requires solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements
  • Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure
  • Travel is required.

  • Ability to show established track record of involvement in industry trade groups preferred
  • Clearance to accept sales position without a non-compete contract

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $116,780.00 - $192,690.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.. This position may be eligible for bonus and/or commission.
