As a Sales Associate, you will be instrumental in driving the company's revenue growth. You will identify new business opportunities, build lasting relationships with clients, and actively promote our comprehensive range of paving services. This position blends sales expertise, industry knowledge (or a willingness to learn), and project management skills, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and project success.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

    Lead Generation & Client Acquisition : Utilize a variety of sales techniques (cold calling, networking, in-person meetings) to generate new leads and prospect clients in both the public and private sectors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term, professional relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Needs Assessment & Solution Recommendation: Engage with clients to understand their unique needs and recommend customized paving solutions, including asphalt repair, sealcoating, and new pavement installations.
  • Sales Proposals & Quotes: Prepare detailed sales proposals, quotes, and project scopes tailored to client specifications, ensuring all client requirements are met.
  • Contract Negotiation & Closing: Effectively negotiate terms and conditions to close deals, ensuring both client satisfaction and company profitability.
  • Project Coordination & Execution: Work closely with the operations and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution, from initial sale to project completion. You will help manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications to ensure that paving services meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
  • Sales Tracking & Reporting: Regularly track and report sales activity, project progress, and client feedback using CRM software and internal systems to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Industry Knowledge & Market Awareness: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Post-Sale Support & Client Satisfaction: Assist in managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-sales to post-installation support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Experience: Background in sales, preferably in construction, paving, or related industries. Project management experience is a plus.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and senior management.
  • Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: A proactive approach with a focus on achieving sales targets and contributing to team success.
  • Learning Agility: Willingness to quickly absorb technical knowledge about paving services and industry practices.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple sales and project tasks concurrently, including tracking milestones, managing timelines, and ensuring that projects are completed according to client specifications.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, task prioritization, and organizational skills to effectively manage workload and sales pipeline.
  • Driver's License & Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for client visits and job site inspections.
  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and communication.
