The Senior OSP Engineering Manager reports to the Vice President - OSP Engineering, and oversees the California (OSP) Engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Design review and approval of all capital and expense projects in the California market
  • Manage local OSP Engineers and assignment/prioritization of projects
  • Manage the OSP capital and operating budgets for the California markets.
  • Serves a lead project manager for their respective team to ensure dates are met and/or communicated to appropriate teams.
  • Could serve as a working leader during peak seasons if necessary
  • Ensure standards are followed and communicated to team
Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunications field with managerial experience
  • Management responsibility for multiple markets or states or an equivalent workload and level of responsibility
  • Subject matter expert for OSP Engineering and Construction standards and procedures
  • Proven ability to successfully manage and work within capital and expense budgets
  • Proven ability to lead both small and large teams
  • Facilitates special projects and/or project teams that are cross-functional and/or have national reach such as large scale builds (CAF, RDOF, etc) or system integration projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats with Senior Management and ability to lead and navigate high-level meetings and calls
  • Ability to provide coverage for up-line Vice President during paid time off, sick leave or travel
  • Has built a strong network of peer managers and relationships within the company to work collaboratively during large scale projects.

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $79,797 - $120,835
