About the Job

As a VP Director of Engagement Strategy, you will be a strategic leader who spearheads engagement initiatives, cultivating account growth and driving business success. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate workshops, and develop tactical plans that drive results, leveraging your deep understanding of engagement strategy deliverables. As a departmental leader, you will mentor junior talent, advocate for engagement strategy, and ensure seamless project execution. By inspiring teams and influencing strategic decisions, you'll drive business outcomes and agency growth.

A Day in the Life

  • Oversee assigned accounts, ensuring quality engagement deliverables and strategic recommendations.
  • Interface independently with senior clients and Account leadership on existing and new business opportunities.
  • Manage and mentor junior-level engagement strategists, fostering career development.
  • Synthesize insights into actionable plans to drive brand goals, developing impactful engagement strategies.
  • Build positive relationships with cross-functional teams (account management, strategic planning, media, creative) and partner with senior marketing clients to provide strategic guidance.
  • Provide insights on on- and offline channels, evaluating value and limitations.
  • Lead engagement strategy deliverables on new business pitches, presenting to clients and evangelizing engagement strategy's value.
  • Direct accounts on opportunities, ensuring strategic and creative product quality, and collaborating with larger brand teams.
  • Drive business outcomes by delivering high-quality engagement strategies and recommendations.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 9+ years of healthcare marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with ability to create complex presentations.
  • Experience with brainstorming software (Stormz, Miro, Mural) and online collaboration platforms (Zoom).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong active listening skills, with a collaborative and constructive working style, and proven ability to influence others.
  • Experience leading teams to make informed decisions, with the ability to balance multiple accounts and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to navigate changing priorities.

Salary
160000 - 230000
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
