Description

ISCO Industries is an end-to-end piping solutions provider that specializes in HDPE. Manufacturing Engineers create and build tools, equipment, products, and solutions to give the operations and sales teams what they need to be the best in the industry. This position is based in our Louisville fabrication facility where we have a dedicated projects area for product R & D and equipment design/development and fabrication. Experience a balance of design work in the office, R & D and fabrication in the shop, and travel for on-site work.

Essential Duties



  • New product R & D.
  • Design and build new equipment to be used in fabrication facilities.
  • Maintain and improve existing equipment in fabrication facilities.
  • Manage and execute fabrication facility upgrades or additions.
  • Procure tools and equipment for fabrication and distribution facilities.
  • Document and organize all projects worked on.
  • Manufacturing process and organization improvements.
  • CNC and Robotic manufacturing equipment setup and support.
  • Support operations and company initiatives.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.


Base Qualifications and Competencies



  • Education: Qualified candidates will possess, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline. Prior work or internship experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment required.
  • Experience: 3 - 10 years. Experience designing and building equipment and procurement of tools or components required.
  • Skills: Proficient knowledge of Autodesk Inventor as well as some of the following skills required: equipment fabrication, welding, machining, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic. Project management and organizational skills preferred. Must have working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.).
