Position Highlights The Department of French and Italian in the School of International Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Arizona is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Adjunct Instructor in French. The department offers a BA and an MA in French, (we offer courses in second language acquisition, francophonie, French literature, culture and language). The department is proud to have Award-winning teachers and advisors. We are looking forward to adding a new member to to the team for the 2025-2026 academic year.

This position is expected to teach three to four courses per semester at the undergraduate level.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • The candidate
    must be able and qualified to teach undergraduate level French
    language courses.
  • Hold office
    hours.
  • Attend meetings
    and events as requested.
  • Other duties as
    assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must possess a
    Master's Degree in French or related field.
  • Native or
    near-native fluency in French and English.
  • Experience in teaching French basic and upper-level language courses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching at college-level.
