It's Friday, Ya'll - Have lunch on us! Get paid every other Friday, Starting at $21.50/hr! The Gist Efficiently and safely operates all packaging line machinery while maintaining high level of quality assurance for the craft beer cases produced. Must be willing and able to troubleshoot machinery as needed. Consistently portrays the Lagunitas brand through hard work and a strong sense of urgency in a team-oriented environment. We are moving to a 24/7 production atmosphere and with that change, weekend availability will be required to be considered. Shifts start at 7a and end around 3:30p.You will have 5 days of consecutive work with 1 of those days being a weekend. What You'll Do Adhere to all safety standards set by Lagunitas andOSHA. Actively participate in safety meetings, audits, and good catchprogram. Manufactures and assembles packaging components which includes assembly of mother cartons and beer shells, cans, bottles and kegs of beer. Participates in TPM efforts including 5S, DCS, Morning on the shop floor, problem solving Kaizens, andAutonomous Transports materials to and from designated areas using hand lifts, forklifts, and otherequipment. Moves goods packed on pallets or crates around thefacility. Operates multiple parts of the packagingline(s). Runs all aspects of kegging, bottling and canninglines. Makes equipment and product changeovers, using tools asneeded. Clean and fill of various types ofkegs. Monitors and reacts to QA specifications: quality control of various packaging processes; watch and monitor fill levels in various packaging types; monitor aesthetics of outer packaging and labels; monitor carbonation levels in finished beer. Responsible for the sanitation of their assigned area including Clean In Place CIP tasks both manual andautomated Keeps track of stock levels of packagingmaterials. Must observe and practice all Safety Procedures, including wearing the proper PPE at all times on the Packaging Lines & Production Floor. Assists in or leads training of newly hired team members asneeded. Other duties and tasks asassigned. What We're Lookin For Ability to work in fast pacedenvironment. Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends, holidays, andovertime. Excellent organization, attention to detail and problem solvingskills. Team work ethic and a positiveattitude. Must have mechanicalaptitude. Attentive and can easily learn and adapt to new equipment andprocesses. Forklift experiencedesired. Any Brewing experience (especially craft beer) is aplus. Must have a minimum of 6 months previous experience working in a warehouse, production or brewingenvironment. Good drivingrecord. High School Diploma or equivalentrequired. Must be 21+ years ofage. MS Office/Computer skillsdesired. Key Relationships Reports directly to Shift Supervisor and PackagingManager. Physical Stuff Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds on a regularbasis. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for majority of workschedule. Tolerate summer/winter temperature conditions in a productionenvironment. Must be able to work flexible shifts, overtime as necessary, & holidays andweekends.
