Pre Press Technician

Green Bay Packaging in Coon Rapids MN is looking for an entry level Pre-Press Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with graphics and tooling while supporting our manufacturing team. This role is primarily administrative, offering a competitive starting pay of $20-$24 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain records for tooling and print plates, including checking in/out and repair status.
• Coordinate press checks with internal and external participants.
• Ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and materials in collaboration with the production team.
• Update CAD files with any changes.
• Providing coverage for the Graphics/Pre-Press Lead in their absence.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft office programs and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Purchasing skills including the ability to negotiate expectations and deadlines.
• Some experience in graphics and pre-press is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work with internal employees and external vendors, a positive and professional image.
• Great attention to details and problem solving.
• Familiarity with color theory, proofing techniques and print processes.
