RN Clinic - Perinatology - Encinitas

This is a benefited, full-time position generally working 8-hr shifts Monday-Friday anywhere from 7:30am-5pm. Hours will vary based on need. Located at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla.

Your job duties:

• Roughly 50/50 with direct, face-to-face patient care and computer/phone work.
• Perform patient need assessments and develop plan care.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care services to include the administration of medications and educating patients.
• Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within the RN scope of practice.
• Referral Triage.

  This position will support all Perinatology locations and seven physicians.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• Prior OB/GYN RN experience
• Current California Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS from American Heart Association
• Must be able to successfully multi-task and remain calm and professional during hectic times.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• Prior experience in an ambulatory/clinic setting
• OBGYN experience
• RN experience in Perinatology &/or Labor & Delivery
• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Antenatal testing experience
