GENERAL FUNCTION

The Brand & Product Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective global business, marketing and product plans to drive market growth, in close collaboration with wholesale markets and retail banners. Act as a key team player to maximize and execute the brand's long range plan goals. Ensuring that local brand and product strategies are developed against the overall brand objective in a high-pace, high-energy environment. Key aspects of this position include business and product development alongside cross-functional project planning and management.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analysis



  • Partner with Licensor and internal business units (Retail, Wholesale) to craft 3Y business development plan and brand strategy


  • Review Monthly reports and track top 5 markets' performance to quarterly net sales targets.
  • Track distribution network for all brands in scope across Wholesale and Retail on quarterly basis, monitoring changes in facings and door openings/closings
  • Ensure alignment between brand initiatives and marketing budget.


Wholesale and Retail Management



  • Partner with Retail and Wholesale team on key activations that align with brand calendar
  • Formative lead on North America Wholesale activities planning/operations
  • Advocate for local market needs by analyzing ROI on local brand activation
  • Align on distribution strategy to ties back to brand growth pillars


Licensor Management



  • Manage Marketing Visibility Slides for Quarterly Business Reviews and Bi-Yearly Marketing Recap
  • Creative asset brief development with agency and alignment with internal stakeholders


Trade Marketing



  • Development of all GWP and Trade Incentive Tools for Wholesale B2B channels
  • Liaison between Trade Marketing and licensor to develop seasonal and permanent tools


Product Strategy



  • Craft and design Product Strategy and Collection architecture, in line and in support of business plan
  • Create product creative briefs for cross-functional teams (R&D, technical, licensor, design) outlining strategies, positioning, concept and inspiration
  • Collaborate with Licensor, designer, technical teams and factory to ensure accurate and timely product development (Product Development Timeline), managing and leading each step of the process, from inception to product discontinuation


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • BA/BS in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management or Business Administration
  • 5+ years' experience in product development, merchandising, retail buying, brand management or licensing with consumer goods
  • Managed multiproduct lines within a brand
  • Self-starter, motivated, proactive, dependable, able to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and to maintain flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communications, organizational, presentation and project management skills

Pay Range: 105,281.60-159,390.00

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
