Primary Purpose

The Digital Copywriter will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content for various digital platforms, including websites, email campaigns, and online advertisements. This role requires a strong understanding of SEO principles, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences across the DTC, B2B and B2E lines of business.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite at our headquarters in Newton MA.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Write compelling and engaging email copy that helps to drive Bright Horizons' registration, utilization of benefits and customer engagement.
  • Develop content for various digital channels to ensure a cohesive brand voice.
  • Create persuasive content for landing pages and website pages that align with marketing campaigns and objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders, including the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team to develop and execute email marketing strategies.
  • Conduct research to understand target audiences and tailor content to their needs and preferences.
  • Optimize email, website and landing page copy for SEO and user experience.
  • Assist in A/B testing and analyzing the performance of email campaigns, landing pages and website content.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitors, industry trends and best practices in email marketing, SEO and copywriting.
  • Utilize writing skills and demonstrate innovation to create original solutions
  • Work with design, copy and social media counterparts to ensure continuity across all digital touchpoints

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field - Required
  • 2 years of experience in copywriting, marketing, or a related field - Required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing principles and best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like Salesforce or WordPress to manage and update website content is a plus.
  • A portfolio of writing samples, including email, landing page and website copy, is preferred.
  • Experience with utilizing AI to create workflow efficiencies and optimize copy is a plus.
