Carpenter / Production Worker -BLUvera (Forney,TX)

SUMMARY

BLUvera is seeking a Carpenter/ Production Worker to join our team. As a member of our production team, you will have the opportunity to work in an indoor facility assembling and fabricating construction products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabrication of assemblies, including carpentry finishing and steel framing tasks.
• Operation of tools and equipment used in general production, carpentry finishing, and steel framing.
• Operate industrial forklift
  
  
  
  • Loading/unloading of materials, including lumber, steel, and finishing supplies
  
  
• Material set up for both general and carpentry/steel framing production
• Conduct detailed quality checks on all finished products, including carpentry and steel frame components
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1-year in carpentry or metal fabrication experience preferred
• Trade or technical school certification/diploma preferred
• Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
• Ability to work with other team members to solve problems
• Passionate about maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Ability to operate standard hand and power tools
• Detail orientated
