- The Control System Engineer will specify, design, and validate complex sub-systems, including requirements for high-level software and hardware system components.
- Responsible for on-time delivery and quality control system work products associated with the system's validation, design, and verification.
- This shall be achieved through the evaluation and modeling of requirements, design, and verification of work products to ensure the system's implementation satisfies the validated requirements.
- Evaluate and agree on control system requirements with stakeholders.
- Capture evidence of requirement validation, use cases, design constraints, quality, safety, and security attributes in models and work products.
- Allocate control system requirements to test vehicles defined in the verification plan.
- Analyzing the functional behavior of the control system, including modeling and simulation, to demonstrate that the design meets validated requirements.
- Develop and review control system tests that will provide evidence to demonstrate that the control system requirements have been satisfied.
- Provides targeted testing of control system functionality to support problem investigation, problem closures, and customer issues.
- Liaises with other disciplines to understand functional performance capabilities of system components to facilitate effective development workflow.
- Produce reports to document the work carried out.
- With the guidance of Control System Specialists, ensure the system detects and accommodates faults.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 4 years of control systems experience, including software-centric - HVAC/Engine/Brake Systems/ Gas Turbine.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in System requirement development Electronic Engine control systems transfer well into Cameo.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Configuration Management and rigorous system tracking.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in aircraft engine interfaces, component technology, and behavior during normal and abnormal operation, as well as software and hardware development process constraints.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in design and analysis tools, especially Cameo System Modeler.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- A working appreciation of associated engineering disciplines.
- Professional courage to highlight areas of concern and risk with regard to the suitability of a product to meet its requirements in a safe and functionally appropriate way.
- Ability to interpret test results and provide an informed opinion or conclusion as to the outcome of the analysis.
- This includes an understanding of measurement uncertainty.
- Ability to manage tasks to completion, ensuring that the relevant areas of the business are appropriately informed.
- Ability to identify and manage risk in collaboration with team members.
- Good problem-solving skills and an ability to understand the analysis necessary.
- Coordination with a multidisciplinary, energetic team of engineers and scientists.
- Able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
