About the role - you will:

  • Implement environmental programs & policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, & local environmental, health, & safety regulations at Bloomington and Shakopee locations
  • Monitor air emissions, hazardous & solid waste generation, wastewater, & chemical usage for waste minimization & regulatory tracking
  • Oversee chemical management approval & inventory process
  • Prepare regulatory submittals required to maintain compliance with federal, state, & local environmental requirements (ex: TRI, Tier II, SPCC, Stormwater, or hazardous waste)
  • Ensure overall site environmental compliance & improved site environmental performance
  • Organize & administer programs & procedures to ensure compliance with both regulations & Corporate/Site Standard Operating Procedures
  • Conduct internal audits of environmental compliance to regulatory requirements & company policies
  • Review new processes & process modifications for EHS impacts
  • Collaborate with site stakeholders to integrate EHS within the organization, implementing continuous improvement and ensuring overall site environmental compliance
  • Work to develop a proficiency in various safety & health programs
  • Participate as a member of the Site Emergency Response Team & Site Emergency Management Team
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, & management of site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) training
  • Coordinate & support site efforts to implement & maintain an ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 certified EHS Management Systems
  • Travel: 1-3 times per year - domestic
  • Location: On-site 80% Bloomington, MN and 20% Shakopee, MN

About you:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Certifications as a CHMM, EIT, CEP or other equivalent certifications
  • Experience in conducting training in EHS practices
  • HAZWOPER or other hazardous material response activities
  • Proven ability to organize work tasks & function effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications software, email, & search engines

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental control, environmental sciences, environmental health and safety, or similar with 5-8 years of experience in environmental management or equivalent related experience
  • Master's Degree in environmental, health or safety practicewith 3-5 years of experience



The estimated base salary range for this position is $81,536.00 - $116,604.80. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
