EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required Education Bachelor's Degree Experience 3 years managing a medium size hospital or clinic related project and 5 years working within a project team. Advanced degree may be used in lieu of years of experience on a year for year basis. JOB DUTIES Provide the leadership framework for planning, directing, coordinating and improving projects that are responsive to the needs of University of Texas Southwestern Hospitals. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel; identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track project milestones and deliverables. Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project, Assumes project hand-offs from Health System Planning team for all approved and funded clinical projects involving major medical equipment purchases, new construction, and/or renovation of existing clinical facilities. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, budget preparation and business plans within Support Services division. Undertake special projects at the request of the AVP of Support Services. Coordinates and manages expectations of multi-disciplinary project stakeholders (Physicians, Clinical staff, Physical Plant, Budgeting, senior management, Interior Design Committee, Health System Planning, etc. Manages the clinical projects for both the Ambulatory Practice and University Hospitals to ensure that the project budget and target schedule are met. Assist in cost consolidation, product standardization and supply chain initiatives. Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Performs other duties as assigned.
