Position Description Notches and pierces parts on Finn-Power turret punch press. Makes setup and adjustments to machine. Uses PC to observe automatic nesting/sorting NC Express programs and to make adjustments to part programs. Monitors quality of product, maintains tooling, basic maintenance on machine, cleans machine weekly, and maintains a clean safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Operates turret punch press Operates support PC Performs quality checks and records data Checks prints and sets up machine Maintains tooling Basic maintenance of machine Keeps a clean safe work area Cleans machine Formal Finn-Power training in machine operation and controls Formal Finn-Power training on automatic nesting of programs and monitoring programs Formal Finn-Power training on automatic sorting of parts and monitoring location Personal Computer and keyboard capability Blue print reading Should take 6 months of punch press experience to be 90% proficient Required Education & Qualifications must be able to read a tape measure!
