Summary

The Federal / State Regulatory Analyst II maintains the organization's ongoing relationships with regulatory commissions/authorities. Coordinates and conducts the assessment of internal controls to ensure compliance as required by regulatory commissions/authorities. Develops programs and processes to manage complaint cases brought to regulatory authorities and develops process improvements to avoid future complaints. Advances organization positions with internal and external parties. Prepares and sponsors testimony to governmental or regulatory agencies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • And a minimum 2 years' related regulatory compliance experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience totally 6 years is required.
  • General knowledge of electric utility industry and associated regulatory / legislative issues and related compliance requirements.

Major Accountabilities

1) Conducts compliance reviews related to the operational and technical requirements of regulatory commissions/ authorities.

2) Submits company filings to various state and local regulatory agencies.

3) Tracks complaint cases and ensures timely resolution.

4) Researches information and compiles data for presentation to regulatory bodies.
