Link Media Outdoor is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, and maintaining up-to-date records of accounts receivable. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Required Skill Sets Ability to accurately process invoices on a schedule set by management Ability to accurately post payments to customer accounts Ability to process credit card transactions Ability to research payment issues and bring to a prompt resolution Accurately prepares daily bank deposit Ability to research unapplied cash on a regular basis Ability to maintain existing schedules for invoicing, receipts and statement generation Assists in monthly management reporting as requested Ability to maintain organized digital files for retention and follow the retention schedule Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, college level accounting classes or Accounting Degree a plus 4-6 years hands-on Account experience Basic computer skills and word processing Good mathematical background Experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems is preferred Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof readings skills, following up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, energetic Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment Flexibility to adapt to all situations Ability to use standard office equipment Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment Ability to anticipate work need sand follow through with minimum direction Willingness to be a Team Player and work well with others Link Media Outdoor is an equal opportunity employer.
