What You Will Do: Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Architectural Studio in Dallas Tx! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Dallas office. Collaborating with a diverse group of industry experts and our in-house engineering teams, our architects leverage advanced technologies and creative solutions to deliver exceptional projects that positively impact and reshape communities. As an Architectural Designer, you will need to be a motivated designer with a positive attitude to support architectural teams and fully commit to multi-disciplined design efforts. You will be working on projects for national and statewide public-facing governmental agencies seeking our best ideas to improve the public realm. You should expect to be challenged to produce high quality work in a fast-paced and intellectually engaging environment. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the following: Prepare concept designs for active projects and proposals. Prepare architectural working drawings and related project documents. Assist in preparation of project specifications. Coordinate construction administration activities such as the review of shop drawings, response to requests for information, and running construction meetings. Work collaboratively and positively in a team environment. Produce conceptual renderings for project and presentation purposes. Be willing to expand your skills and grow professionally. Education \| Experience: What you will bring to our firm: Bachelor of Arts/Science in Architecture is required. B.Arch or Master of Architecture degree is preferred. Minimum of 2-5 years minimum experience in an architectural office setting is required. High proficiency in REVIT Building Information Modeling Architecture with experience in both design and construction documentation is required. Strong graphic skills and experience with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch-Up Pro, Rihno or similar is desired Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint software is required. Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu is required. Experience with 3D Rendering software such as Lumion 3D, Enscape or similar is desired. Candidate must be dynamic, creative and detail oriented. Candidate must be able to work effectively in team situations and establish strong relationships with other teams where overlap of client project work exists. What we prefer you bring: A working knowledge of current International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and knowledge of related standards such as ANSI, ASTM, ASHRAE etc. Knowledge of the following building types is desired: aviation, transit, transportation, government (federal, state, local) Compensation: The range for this position is salary range is $65,000 - $80,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
