Remote/Central Support (Columbus Corporate)

The Manager, Re-Enrollment will perform outreach to students who dropped-out/stopped-out and collaborate across the campus to foster re-enrollment and timely degree completion. This role will maintain a close working relationship with the Office of Admissions, Operations, Academics, and other areas, ensuring conformity to the College's overall re-enrollment policies and processes. This role is essential in helping students successfully reintegrate into college life and achieve their academic and personal goals.

Responsibilities:

Re-Enrollment:



  • Work with Registrar's office to create a master list and then identify target population of students who left the College for possible re-enrollment.
  • Create outreach strategies that include phone calls, mailing, emailing, texting, web resources and other forms.
  • Collaborate across the institution to create an organized, supportive, structured system for re-enrollment.
  • Connect students to academic colleges, advising, financial aid, and other resources needed for re-enrollment.
  • Maintain records of outreach and re-enrollment for reporting purposes.
  • Once re-enrolled, check-in on students and provide referrals as needed to offices and support services.
  • Work with Academics to create a list of students also on Medical Leave and then with College Offices to communicate support in their possible return to the College.
  • Serve as a resource for students looking to re-enroll.
  • Understand and apply College Policies related to advising students on re-enrollment.
  • Provide leadership with progress on re-enrollment.
  • Perform additional duties as required.


Additional Responsibilities:



  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement reentry programs that assist students in transitioning back to college life. This includes academic advising, mental health support, and career counseling.
  • Case Management: Serve as a case manager for returning students, providing personalized support and resources to help them succeed.
  • Collaboration: Work with various departments, including academic advising, counseling services, and financial aid, to coordinate support for reentry students.


Workshops and Training:



  • Organize and conduct workshops on topics such as study skills, time management, and stress reduction.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Track the progress of reentry students and evaluate the effectiveness of reentry programs, adjusting as needed.
  • Resource Development: Develop and maintain a database of resources available to reentry students, including community services, tutoring, and financial assistance.


Requirements:



  • Associate degree required - bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Experience in academic advising, counseling, or a related field is required.
  • Experience working with non-traditional or returning students is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external organizations.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by reentry students and familiarity with resources available to support them.
