Summary: Provides administrative and technical support to the sciene and environmental discipline in a variety of functions to an individual, team, department, or other group in an organization. Collects, reviews and analyzes data, and prepares reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials. Responds to or routes routine inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence or other messaging. Schedules and coordinates meetings, travel, and other group activities. Has basic word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software skills Requires a high school diploma. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Duties: Responsible for performing moderate to complex work assignments involving independent judgment to determine a course of action consistent with established functional and organization's policies and goals. Exercises judgment in the selection and organization of work methods and procedures. May develop routine modifications in existing technique and procedures or make recommendations regarding their improvement. Qualifications: Technical school graduate with 2+ years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Strong ability to inform and persuade on complex matters through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and management. Intermediate understanding of systems, processes and tools to perform duties and effectively meet project requirements.
