We are looking for a detail oriented Senior Consultant, Contingent Workforce to join our Human Resources department!

As a Senior Consultant, Contingent Workforce you will assist with spearheading the strategic approach for managing contingent workers, providing guidance to key stakeholders, policy development and process implementation. The senior consultant will oversee all aspects of the contingent labor program, driving the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of contingent staffing management across the enterprise.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end MSP solutions, ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of contingent labor services while overseeing the entire contingent workforce lifecycle, including requisition management, vendor selection, and the on-boarding/off-boarding processes.

  • Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for managing the contingent workforce, aligning the program with organizational goals and workforce needs.

  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for HR data governance related to contingent worker management.

  • Advise on policy development and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

  • Lead efforts to address misclassification issues and create a standardized governance framework.

  • Act as a liaison between HR, Finance, IT, Legal, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with governance initiatives.

  • Oversee relationships with Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners and other external vendors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality contingent staffing services.

  • Identify potential risks associated with contingent worker management and recommend mitigation strategies; to include access and security.

  • Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards and maintain financial objectives for the program.

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and gather input from stakeholders through workshops and focus groups.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and TA to understand evolving business needs, ensuring the right talent is strategically sourced and deployed effectively.

  • Develop training programs and materials to educate HR staff and hiring managers on new governance standards and processes.

  • Develop and implement clear guidelines for contingent worker categorization and compliance.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field

  • 5+ years human resources, project management, or vendor management experience

  • Expertise in managing MSP relationships and delivering large-scale contingent workforce programs.

  • Strong understanding of HR data governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven experience in project management, vendor management, and process improvement.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
