You and Your Job

As a Business Controller Rural Manager you will be able to add value to the company and drive strategic decisions about on the Rabobank Rural business.

Being a business partner by providing strategic advice & analysis to support the business heads in optimizing business performance. To steer the organization on capital, profitability & investment related matters. This position is responsible for the direct business support for the Rural business by providing strategic analysis & advice and a critical independent review of business proposals. The goal is to steer the Rural business on capital, profitability & investment related matters in order to optimize performance.

The Business Control Manager - Rural works as part of the Global Rural Control team to ensure consistency and sharing of ideas for the overall business.

Job Responsibilities
  • Act as partner and advisor to the businesses and support areas;
  • Help/Assist in the coordination of budget and forecast process;
  • Discuss key Management reports (including P&L and Balance Sheet statements) with Business Heads (or their delegates), as well as Customer/Client performance monitoring and Capital Usage, Data, etc;
  • Discuss performance dashboards with local Management and individual department managers on North America Performance.
  • Prepare/Review commentary and analytics (month on month, actual to budget to forecast deviations, etc.).
  • Participate in special strategic projects (i.e. Deep Dive exercises) to support the bank's initiatives including but not limited to cost control, strategic plan and client/segment/sector reporting.
  • Review Capital allocations for the Rural business.

Your Promise to Us:

To be considered for the Business Control Manager - Rural role, you must have:

  • 15+ years of related experience.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and ability to understand financial transactions in a banking environment.
  • Ability to travel regionally, up to 15%
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]'s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
