Advantage Technical is seeking a qualified direct-hire Maintenance Technician to join our partner company in Ayer, MA. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dedicated team focused on maintaining high standards of operational excellence.

Pay: $30.00/hr - $37.00/hr

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM | Sunday - Thursday

Requirements:



  • High School Diploma, minimum; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Trades or Maintenance-related field preferred
  • Solid, proven, and stable background in a maintenance-related position in an injection or blow molding facility
  • Knowledge of processing and mold designs, preferably in injection molding, to effectively distinguish issues related to machines, molds, materials, etc.
  • Proven maintenance and technical proficiencies in all disciplines: electrical, pneumatic, robotics, hydraulic, etc.
  • Exposure to and experience with robotics and automation
  • Basic computer experience
  • Flexibility in work hours required



Job Duties: As a Maintenance Mechanic, your daily responsibilities will include performing repairs and providing preventative maintenance on all plastic injection molding equipment and auxiliary equipment. You will also be tasked with installing and wiring industrial automation line controls, integrating them with the existing network under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager. Additionally, you will troubleshoot electrical control and distribution systems, including 24-volt alternating current, 120-volt alternating current, 277-volt alternating current, and 480-volt alternating current. Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller troubleshooting, particularly with Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 programming, is valuable.
