The Action Officer provides Director's Action Group (DAG) support in accordance with established organization/office policies, regulations, and procedures. The Action Officer directs and oversees the receipt, tasking, tracking and closure of all internal and external tasks. The Action Officer manages the action tracking system. The Action Officer establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the Directorate/Office both internally and externally. Job Requirements
Tasks:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a Technical OR Business related Discipline (Advanced degree preferred) and Target 8 Years within any Government OR target 5 years within IC or DoD OR Associate's Degree in any discipline and Target 10 years within IC or DoD OR target 7 years within NRO. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs. Mental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism. Security clearance required
