We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic team player to
join our Human Resources Team!

What you will do

  • Implements and maintains HR wellness and employee engagement
    events and programs.
  • Supports HR management with international immigration and
    relocation processes.
  • Assists with administration of benefit plans, including
    medical, dental, 401k, and international benefits.
  • Coordinates benefits enrollments, explains benefit programs
    to employees, serves as liaison between benefit providers and employees.
  • Supports the FMLA leave administration process, communicates
    with employees regarding leave qualification and documentation, maintains leave
    records, updates internal systems as required.
  • Communicates HR programs to employees and leadership;
    creates and distributes effective and engaging communications (announcements,
    surveys, handbooks, etc.)
  • Responds to general employee inquiries via email, chat,
    phone, and in-person.
  • Follows established policies and procedures and maintains
    compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and
    local, national, federal, and international employment laws and regulations.
  • Handles confidential situations appropriately with maturity
    and professionalism.
  • Responsible for other projects/duties as assigned.

What you need to have

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business
    administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and
    experience
  • Four plus (4+) years of human resources experience
    preferably at a medium to large-sized company.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources best practices and core
    functions.
  • Knowledge of FMLA leave requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS, business analysis tools, and HR
    reporting.
  • Solid of understanding of employment law and policies
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately handle confidential
    and sensitive information.
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
  • Customer service oriented and proven ability to work as a
    team member.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication
    skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 desktop applications.

What would be helpful to have

  • Participation in or completion of an academic HR certificate
    program
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM, HRCI) in progress or
    completed.
