- Implements and maintains HR wellness and employee engagement
events and programs. - Supports HR management with international immigration and
relocation processes. - Assists with administration of benefit plans, including
medical, dental, 401k, and international benefits. - Coordinates benefits enrollments, explains benefit programs
to employees, serves as liaison between benefit providers and employees. - Supports the FMLA leave administration process, communicates
with employees regarding leave qualification and documentation, maintains leave records, updates internal systems as required. - Communicates HR programs to employees and leadership;
creates and distributes effective and engaging communications (announcements, surveys, handbooks, etc.) - Responds to general employee inquiries via email, chat,
phone, and in-person. - Follows established policies and procedures and maintains
compliance with employment laws and regulations. - Maintains strong knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and
local, national, federal, and international employment laws and regulations. - Handles confidential situations appropriately with maturity
and professionalism. - Responsible for other projects/duties as assigned.
What you need to have
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business
administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Four plus (4+) years of human resources experience
preferably at a medium to large-sized company. - Strong knowledge of human resources best practices and core
functions. - Knowledge of FMLA leave requirements.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS, business analysis tools, and HR
reporting. - Solid of understanding of employment law and policies
- Demonstrated ability to appropriately handle confidential
and sensitive information. - Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
- Customer service oriented and proven ability to work as a
team member. - Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication
skills. - Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 desktop applications.
What would be helpful to have
- Participation in or completion of an academic HR certificate
program - Professional HR certification (SHRM, HRCI) in progress or
completed.
