Resident Account Support Field Engineer - Data Center Operations

We're looking for a motivated and technically skilled Resident Account Support Field Engineer to support hardware and infrastructure systems across enterprise data centers. In this role, you'll be hands-on with servers, storage, and network hardware-troubleshooting, resolving issues, and keeping operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:




  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues across multi-OEM enterprise systems including servers, storage, and networking.



  • Support data center IT operations using diagnostic tools and system analysis techniques.



  • Execute installations, component replacements, and break/fix support per provided procedures.



  • Perform routine data center tasks efficiently, with remote guidance when needed.



  • Collaborate with customers and team members to resolve escalated issues and maintain service continuity.



  • As a resident at customer sites, assist with additional support tasks as required by the Statement of Work (SOW).




What You Bring:




  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to commute to/from work locations.



  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to handle component-level repairs using ESD best practices.



  • Clear communication, strong organization, and the ability to document tasks and activities.



  • Comfort working independently or as part of a team.



  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.




Preferred Qualifications:




  • High School Diploma or GED (required).



  • 1-3 years of hands-on technical experience (preferred).



  • Basic understanding of server hardware, storage systems, and network fundamentals is a plus.




Travel & Reimbursement:




  • Travel mileage is reimbursed at the federal mileage rate beyond the first 50 miles commuted from your home.



  • Out-of-state travel is reimbursed at actual cost, including transportation (car/flight) and lodging (hotel).
