Position Title: Maintenance Technician Wage: $66,560.00 - $72,800.00/Salary Shifts: 3rd Shift Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Monday - Friday OT on Saturdays If you are an organized, self-motivated individual with a passion for helping teams succeed, we'd love to hear from you! Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Responsible for preventative maintenance on equipment, such as any servicing of conveyors, presses, stackers, etc - Read and understand mechanical prints, electrical wiring diagrams/schematics, AC/DC motors, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams - Troubleshoot, repair and install mechanical components, electrical controls, AC/DC motors, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, bearings, and power transmission - Perform fabrication of equipment (welding both arc and gas) to desired needs - Be able to make adjustments on equipment to improve productivity - Be able to identify and locate unusual sounds that indicate potential trouble - Be able to dismantle equipment to gain access to defective parts - Examine and determine to what degree parts have worn, and repair or replace parts as needed - Operate metal, woodworking, and hand tools to make, and repair, parts - This all will be done in a safe manner Requirements For Maintenance Technician: - Minimum three to five years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment - Candidate must have technical skills in all disciplines of industrial maintenance - Working knowledge of PLC controlled equipment - Must have good working knowledge of various meters (volt/amp meters, schematics, dial calipers, heat sensing guns, etc.) - Outstanding analytical and decision-making skills - Able to handle multiple projects at one time - Good written and verbal communication skills - Good interpersonal skills - Strong organizational skills - Willing to work off shifts QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
