Nokia of America Corporation, Performance and Optimization Expert (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX. SALARY RANGE: $154,710 - 204,337 per year WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) Perform radio performance and optimization of telecommunications networks covering 4G/5G to trouble shoot and improve KPIs. Assist with the delivery of optimization projects according to the agreed scope of work (SoW). Analyze, test, troubleshoot and perform system monitoring and verify integrity of network resources and systems. Implement new mobile network features, tune 5G/4G (LTE) radio network parameters and evaluate existing network systems. Share knowledge with a team of radio frequency (RF) engineers and perform RF network optimization activities during network rollout phases. Perform network maintenance, analyze neighbor relations and implement corrections. Perform RF performance activities in customer projects according to project plan and under a project team's guidance. Investigate customer problems and provide network solutions for performance requirements. Perform critical and escalated performance activities in customer projects to include complex problem solving in projects with performance requirements and multi-vendor environment. Create plans and provide support to clients and/or customers on site. #LI-DNI JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following: Troubleshooting and improving KPIs for radio performance and optimization of telecommunications networks covering 4G LTE; Performing RF performance activities including analysis of KPIs, investigation and improvement of network quality problems. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with drive test measurement tools and post-processing tools. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: 5G Radio Performance and Optimization of 5G Radio nodes; Evaluating 5G drive test data and implementation of new 5G features; Analyzing 5G Radio performance and tuning of 5G radio network parameters and implementation of corrections; Leading engineers to perform Radio Frequency (RF) network optimization activities during network rollout phase; Interfacing with external customers to provide network performance and optimization according to the solutions portfolio; 4G/5G Radio Hardware Products; Operations support systems (OSS) tools, OSS Performance, Configuration and Fault management tools. Domestic travel up to 50% required. International travel up to 25% as required.
