Requisition ID# 164708 Job Category: Power Generation; Business Operations / Strategy Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Operations - Other Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Auburn Department Overview Power Generation operates and maintains PG&E's hydroelectric, fossil, solar generation and battery storage facilities, providing approximately 5,300 megawatts of generating capacity for our customers. Our nearly 1000 coworkers are dedicated to delivering safe, reliable and cost-effective generation to California in an environmentally responsible manner. Our hydro facilities include 62 conventional hydro powerhouses, a pumped-storage facility, 98 reservoirs, 168 dams and more than 200 miles of canals and flumes, among other water conveyances. Natural gas-fired plants in operation are Humboldt Bay Generating Station in Eureka; Colusa Generating Station in Colusa County and Gateway Generating Station in Antioch. Several utility-scale solar generation plants also are operated and maintained, as well as PG&E's successful entry into battery energy storage, our Elkhorn Battery facility at Moss Landing in Monterey County. Position Summary Support department and/or line of business system needs. Identify and implement process and system improvements, manage communications, coordinate and deliver trainings for essential business procedures/processes, and drive development of new resources and tools. Some travel may be required for monthly meetings. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors. A reasonable salary range is: Bay Area Minimum: $114,000 Bay Area Maximum: $182,000 &/OR California Minimum: $108,000 California Maximum: $173,000 Job Responsibilities Assist Management with the leadership of key department initiatives such as system development, training and focused campaigns/initiatives Develop and manage trainings to enhance knowledge and job skills Develop internal work procedures and initiate process improvements Influence decisions, providing recommendations for change that will lead to the success of company goals and cost effectiveness Liaison between various departments and cross functional teams Manage communications May serve as a team lead Participate on cross functional teams Provide direction and coaching to other team members. Research and data analysis; compile and prepare reports for upper management Support organization as a subject matter expert by providing information and direction to resources through various delivery channels Use system and personnel resources to successfully address inquiries from internal business partners Qualifications Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience Job-related experience, 8 years Desired: Graduate Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience PMP Project and/or Construction Experience #featuredjob
