Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Governance Solutions - Policy, Comms, & Special Projects within the LCA Operations & Strategy Team drives operational efficiency and business transformation initiatives within the Legal & Corporate Affairs (LCA) Organization while supporting broader enterprise-wide objectives. This role serves as a key leader within the LCA Operations & Strategy Team, offering the opportunity to drive meaningful change at the intersection of legal and corporate affairs expertise and business operations through process improvement, technology/systems enablement, and organizational change management, creating sustainable value for the organization while enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of the overall LCA Organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create new and/or update existing best-in-class policies, SOPs, exhibits and guidelines; review with Subject Matter Experts, business owners, and LCA stakeholders; roll out for compliance with Alight requirements in defined sprints.

  • Profile suppliers to meet both client-facing and external privacy/security needs; lead supplier sub processor gathering requirements to provide updates to L&CA for new, renewal, and/or change of legal entity names with suppliers.

  • Oversee supplier management activities to ensure optimal performance and compliance; evaluate COI requirements and deliver updates; lead Alight's net payment terms supplier and p-Card initiatives; evaluate policies/requirements for Supplier and on-going management.

  • Identify and Lead Comms/Training with Governance Solutions updates; Lead messaging/training with Integration Leads; and act as a process coach for governance requests.

  • Retain LCA compliance / training calendar to report for Client audits; provide 1:1 coaching based on data analysis findings and observations to internal and external stakeholders; drive alerts on savings; and resolve issues faced by Category Pillars.

  • Lead Supplier Risk Management (SRM) remediation action tracking; lead SRM oversight update (SRM) Exec Summary for all critical supplier information inclusive of classifying suppliers for specific criteria and automation; lead SRM oversight to supplier mitigation plans approved; and provide Category Leads of confirmation of TPRM's on-going assessment.

  • Work with compliance to determine SRM for any identified suppliers requiring heightened reviews/reporting; coordinate committed supplier review schedules; attend on-site audit reviews from SRM perspective; evaluate/create/analyze scorecard reviews and supplier surveys.

  • Support external, internal, and client audit Requests (e.g., supplier data, templates, schedules, contracts). Lead and manage special projects as assigned.

  • Manage feedback loop on project proposals, budgets, deliverables, ROI and business outcomes, supporting successful deployments, user adoption and ongoing continuous improvement objectives.

  • Support re-design and standardization of processes and best practices for LCA Operations and the LCA Organization.

  • Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in governance, LCA operations and corporate governance.

Knowledge, Education, Certification, Skills & Technical Proficiencies

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree in business, law, or related field preferred

  • Professional certifications in project management, process improvement, agile methodology or organizational change management preferred

  • Proficiency in agile methodology and technology deployments/continuous improvement initiatives

  • Proficiency in Smartsheet for project management and tracking preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Visio/Mural for process mapping and visualization

  • Experience with Zip, Ironclad and/or Workday tools for Strategic Sourcing and vendor management preferred

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of exemplary experience in legal operations, business operations, or management consulting with focus on governance and compliance preferred

  • Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and operational improvement projects

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Innovative and agile growth mindset to support key transformational projects

82,000 USD

Maximum :

130,100 USD
