Job Overview: Greets, receives, and routes all visitors, clients, and vendors, routes incoming calls, and performs miscellaneous clerical and clinical tasks for the clinic.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Acts as a receptionist by pleasantly greeting and directing visitors having business with the company.
- Ensures that all visitors have temporary security identification and are escorted from the lobby into appropriate business area.
- Provides administrative support for specified individuals (e.g. opening mail, screening phone calls, photocopying, word processing, and filing).
- Supports department's efforts on scheduling activities (e.g. client visits, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, agendas, etc.) as needed.
- Creates FedEx packages, makes photocopies, and stuffs envelopes.
- Maintains an employee contact list.
- Assists with tasks related to participant check in and discharge, and may assist with resolution of participant issues
- Performs data entry as appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of computers and programs (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.
- Requires unquestionable customer service skills and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact.
- Requires great attention to detail.
- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Experience (Minimum Required):
- 2-3 years of applicable experience.
- Knowledge of science or a scientific background is preferred.
- Typically, 2 - 3 years of applicable experience
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Must be able to see and hear.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard for up to 6 hours per day.
- Overtime and weekend work as required.
