What You'll Do

Join our dynamic and collaborative team at Lam, where innovation meets dedication. As a member of our Dielectric Deposition Team in Tualatin, OR, you will work alongside passionate professionals committed to excellence and continuous improvement. Our team values creativity, open communication, and a supportive environment that encourages growth and development.

In this role, you will work on next-generation film deposition tools in a fast-paced environment. Agility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential in our daily operations. Together, we strive to achieve outstanding results and make a meaningful impact in our industry.

  • Uphold Lam's core values and maintain 300mm wafer tool processing safely and efficiently in a Class 10 cleanroom.
  • Ensure clear documentation and communication via email, IM, Excel, and internal systems.
  • Follow best known methods (BKMs) and procedures accurately, and prepare/execute instructions from engineers and management.
  • Adhere to laws for breaks and lunch, maintain daily housekeeping, and stay updated on required web-based training.
  • Review pre-measurement results, troubleshoot alarms, and send daily passdown at shift end.
  • Assist engineers in monitoring, modifying, and running recipes, as well as visualizing data.
  • Mentor, train, and guide new members on lab workflows.
Who We're Looking For
  • 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Associate's degree in a technical field, Technical Certificate, Diploma, or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related field.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), cleanroom suit, or smock.
  • Foundational communication skills, reading and writing, in English.
  • Ability to work a shift schedule, including walking approximately 3-8 miles per day.
  • Lifting approximately 20 pounds regularly, including carrying FOUPs/FOSBs between various buildings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in semiconductor fab operations.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor HVM tool sets, including operation, recipe execution, and troubleshooting.
  • Previous cleanroom experience, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), cleanroom suits, or smocks.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
