WHAT WE DO:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-driven Technical Business Analyst to join our newly established team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between business objectives and technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to analyze processes, define requirements, and deliver innovative, high-impact solutions that enhance efficiency and drive success. Overall, you must possess a strong mix of business acumen and technical knowledge, enabling them to facilitate the development of solutions that drive business success.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Requirement Gathering
    Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, goals, and technical requirements for projects and solutions.
  • Vendor & Tool Evaluation
    Assess third-party tools and vendors for fit with organizational needs and manage procurement processes.
  • Process Analysis & Improvement
    Evaluate current workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements for streamlined operations.
  • Technical Documentation
    Create detailed documentation, including system specifications, user stories, process flows, and technical manuals, to support development and implementation.
  • Stakeholder Communication
    Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Solution Design & Validation
    Design scalable solutions that meet business requirements and validate them through testing and stakeholder feedback.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    Analyze data trends and generate actionable insights through custom reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Vendor Management
    Maintain relationships with vendors, ensure contract compliance, and resolve issues to optimize value from third-party solutions.
  • Project Management Support
    Assist in defining project scope, timelines, deliverables, and ensuring smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance
    Oversee the testing process to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
  • Training & Support
    Provide training to end-users and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of new tools and processes.



WHO YOU ARE:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 2 - 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience:


    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role.
    • Familiarity with finance, HR, or operations systems and workflows preferred.
    • Hands-on experience with SaaS tools, data analysis, and process improvement.
    • Familiarity with APIs, and data integration workflows.
    • Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Groovy, SQL are a plus.


  • Technical Skills:


    • Proficiency in analyzing and documenting business processes and technical requirements.
    • Understanding of system architectures, data models, and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
    • Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks or Agile methodologies preferred.


  • Soft Skills:


    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
    • Adaptability to shifting priorities and a fast-paced environment.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$69,900 $128,200 USD
