Job Summary

Responsible for assessment and individual, family and group behavioral treatment under the supervision of licensed clinical psychologists.

Essential Functions

  • All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.

  • Conducts psychological and developmental assessment and/or treatment of children ages 0-18 under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. These activities include but may not be limited to: Individual assessment of children seen within the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and other sub-specialty practices of the GHS Children's Hospital, Team assessments of children seen within the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and other sub-specialty practices of the GHS Children's Hospital and/or Behavioral treatment of children with developmental-behavioral problems or chronic illness.

  • Submits all evaluation/treatment results and reports to supervisor for review.

  • Participates in supervision with licensed clinical psychologist. Supervision requirements are based upon state requirements and the level of training of the fellow.

  • Participates in departmental activities including but not limited to meetings and professional development activities

  • Participates in educational programming including but not limited to core lecture series and other departmental and hospital trainings and/or giving presentations

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibility

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Doctorate PhD., PsyD.

  • Experience - One (1) year of experience. Completion of psychology internship of 2000 hours

In Lieu Of

  • In lieu of the Doctorate, a conferral of the PhD or PsyD will be accepted.
