Job Summary

Join our team as a NOAM Category Manager - Oils, where you will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to source a competitive and cost-effective portfolio of raw materials. You will oversee a Category Excellence Team, ensuring alignment with GP policies and procedures, while achieving both financial and non-financial targets across all manufacturing plants. This role reports directly to the NOAM Food Ingredients Procurement Director.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Veg Oils aligned with
    company objectives and R&D requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage
    relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality
    products.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to identify potential cost-saving
    opportunities and mitigate any potential supply chain risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and
    ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance to ensure compliance with
    contracts and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, and
    actively seek out new partnerships to expand our supplier network.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations related to
    Vegetable oil markets
  • Manage the procurement budget and ensure productivity savings targets aremet.
  • Provide updates on procurement activities GPLT

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in category management (preferably in the oil and
    gas industry).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing procurement categories,
    preferably in chemicals or oils
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and
    contract negotiations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
