Position Overview:
TheCustomer Acquisition & Development (CAD)Manager is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the salesportfoliosto drive growth and improve operational efficiency.This role involves strategic planning, data analysis, and collaboration with the sales leadership team to ensure that sales representatives are assigned toaccountsthat maximize revenue opportunities and support the company's overall business goals.
In this role, you will optimize sales team portfolios, including efficient distribution ofcustomers andprospects, geo-alignment, and right-sizingsales portfoliosbased on tenure and productivity.Additionally,youwill oversee the management of the account database to ensure actionable data is reported accurately and timely todrivethe business forward tomeetcompany objectives.Youwillalsocollaborate closely within your teamto enhance and maintain a high-quality customer and prospect database.

  • Territory Strategy Development: Design, implement, and continually refinesales portfoliosbased on company objectives, market potential, historical performance, and sales goals.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, customer segmentation, market trends, and performance metrics to inform territory allocation and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to understand field challenges, provide insights, and adjustportfoliosas needed to ensure optimal coverage and sales success.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure sales resources (teams, tools, etc.) are allocated effectively across territoriesand accounts,consideringfactors such as potential, customer needs, and workload distribution.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to align goals, share insights, and ensure consistent execution ofcompany initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of eachseller and sales portfolio,and adjustportfoliosas necessary to ensure goals are met, including monitoring sales pipeline and forecast accuracy. Execute Peel and Grow strategy as necessary to optimize seller portfolios
  • Territory Mapping &Refinement: Continuously review territory boundaries and account assignments to ensure alignment with market conditions and sales strategy.
  • Sales Forecasting: Work with sales leadership to help forecast and manage regional sales objectives, ensuring sales quotas are realistic and achievable based on territory data.
  • Reporting & Presentations: Prepare and present regular reports on territory performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
What you will bring to the team:
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales,Computer Scienceor a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience:
    • IT industry experience preferred
    • 5+years of experience insales operations,territory planning, or related functions.
    • Strong understanding of sales processes, market analysis, and customer segmentation.
    • Experience withDynamicsCRM and sales performance tools.
    • Proficiency in various tools around Analysis and Business Intelligence/reporting
    • Experience with advanced excel, macros, SQLqueries,MDX queries, CRM (advanced queries),reporting in Power BI
    • Skills:
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis tools.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Ability to handle complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
    • Knowledge:
      • Understanding of sales pipeline management and performance metrics.
      • Familiarity with market segmentation and resource allocation strategies
