Administrative Assistant II

Administrative Assistant II is a vital role within an organization, providing comprehensive administrative support to facilitate smooth operations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This position requires the employee to work at the company's physical workplace, meaning it's not a remote or hybrid role, and you'll be expected to be present at the office during regular business hours.

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Administrative Assistant II: $$60k-$65K

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Administrative Assistant II Responsibilities Include:

* Performs advanced administrative support for office or executive level managers.

* Assignments generally involve work of a confidential nature requiring extensive knowledge of office, company practices, policies, and programs.

* Assist with strategic communication plans and associated products tailored to target audiences and stakeholders.

* Assembles and analyzes information, prepares reports, correspondence, and memoranda.

* May coordinate activities across departments or offices.

* May handle calendaring, travel arrangements, process expenses/invoices, and coordination of day-to-day activities.

* Prepares documents, presentations, reports, minutes, confidential correspondence; manages a wide variety of written correspondence and procedures in an efficient and accurate manner.

* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in support of communication initiatives.

* Greets and interacts with visitors, maintaining a high level of customer service, responding to inquiries, and directing visitors to the correct staff member.

* Screens telephone calls, resolves routine inquiries, and refers complex requests to an appropriate staff member.

* Assist in planning and executing high-level meetings and events, to include recording meeting minutes and developing meeting agendas, presentations, and other informational materials.

* Regular and punctual attendance is required.

* May assist in the digitization, storage, and archival of print and other format historical records.

* Performs other job-related duties as required.

Administrative Assistant II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience and is required to have at least a minimum education of high school or equivalent.

* Must be a self-starter with excellent time management and interaction skills and possess a willingness to learn

* Project and multi-task management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner while dealing with frequent interruptions.

* Ability to read, interpret, and analyze day to day correspondence and routine reports

* Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives, and exercise independent judgement based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities. High level of attention to detail

* Ability to communicate effectively orally, by phone, in person, and in writing.

* Experience writing and creating products

* Advanced skill and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

* Advanced ability to schedule meetings and track calendars for managers

* Past applicable job experience may include, but is not limited to: Administrative Assistant, Project Coordinator, Office Administrator.

* Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
